Accept or troubleshoot an invitation
Join an organization with the invited email address and resolve common invitation problems.
An invitation is tied to the email address that received it. Start from the invitation link and use that exact address throughout the sign-in or sign-up process.
Before you start
- Open the most recent invitation email.
- Check which email address received it.
- Sign out of Trackability first if another account is currently active.
Accept an invitation
- Open the invitation link.
- Trackability sends signed-out visitors to Sign In. The invited address is not displayed or filled in for you.
- Sign in with the invited address. If you do not have an account, select Sign Up, create it with that address, then reopen the invitation link.
- Review the organization name and invitation details.
- Select Join Organization.
After the invitation is accepted, Trackability adds the organization under Switch Workspace. Select it to open the organization dashboard.
You can decline the invitation instead if you do not want to join.
Troubleshooting
Email mismatch
You are signed in with a different email address from the one that was invited. Select the option to use a different account, then sign in with the invited email.
Invitation expired
Ask an organization administrator to resend the invitation. Open the newest link after it arrives.
Invitation not found
The link may be invalid, or the invitation may have been canceled. Ask the organization administrator to confirm the address and send a new invitation.
Invitation already declined
A declined invitation cannot be accepted from the same link. Ask an organization administrator to send another invitation.
You are already a member
No further acceptance is needed. Select Go to Organization Dashboard, or open the organization under Switch Workspace.
The organization is at its seat limit
Ask an organization administrator to make another seat available or update the organization's billing. Then open the invitation again.
The organization no longer exists
The invitation cannot be used. Contact the person who invited you if you need access to a different organization.
