Trackability guide
Manage organization members
Review members, change roles, remove access, or leave an organization.
The Members page shows everyone who belongs to the active organization. It also shows each member's email address, role, and join date.
Before you start
- Open the account menu, select Switch Workspace, and choose the organization you want to manage.
- Go to Settings → Members.
- Confirm that your role allows the action you want to take.
Review members
Use the members table to check who has access to the organization and which role each person has. Your own row is marked You.
Actions appear only when they are available to you. If a row has no actions, your role does not allow a change for that member.
Change a member's role
- Open the actions menu on the member's row.
- Select Update Role.
- Choose a different role.
- Review the warning and select Update Role.
The new permissions apply immediately. Choose the role carefully so the member keeps only the access they need.
Remove a member
- Open the actions menu on the member's row.
- Select Remove from Account.
- Check the member's name and email address.
- Confirm the removal.
The person immediately loses access to the organization. Their personal Trackability account is not deleted.
Leave an organization
Open the actions menu on your own member row and select Leave Organization, if available. Review the warning before confirming because the organization will disappear from the list under Switch Workspace.
Troubleshooting
Members shows the wrong organization
Open the account menu, select Switch Workspace, choose the intended organization, and reopen Settings → Members.
Update Role or Remove from Account is missing
Your role does not allow that action, or the selected member cannot be changed by your role. Ask an organization owner or administrator for help.
A role cannot be selected
Only roles available to your organization are listed. If custom roles are available, someone who can manage roles can review them in Settings → Roles.
You cannot leave the organization
Follow the message shown in the confirmation flow. An ownership or membership requirement may need to be resolved before you can leave.
