Trackability guide
Reset your password and update sign-in details
Recover access and manage your email, password, and connected sign-in accounts.
You can recover a password from the sign-in page. After signing in, the Security page shows the account details and sign-in methods that you can manage.
Reset a forgotten password
- Open Sign In and select Forgot Password?.
- Enter the email address for your account.
- Submit the request and check your inbox.
- Open the reset link in the email.
- Enter and confirm your new password.
- Return to Sign In and use the new password.
If a reset link has expired or is rejected, request a new message and use the new link.
Before changing your sign-in details
Sign in and open Settings → Security.
The email and password cards appear only when your account has an email-and- password sign-in method. If the cards are absent, use one of your connected sign-in methods instead.
Change your email address
- In Settings → Security, find Update your Email.
- Enter the new email address twice.
- Submit the request.
- Approve the change from your current email inbox.
- Open the verification message sent to the new email address and complete the second verification.
Your email changes only after both verification steps are complete.
Change your password
- In Settings → Security, find Update your Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter and confirm a different new password.
- Select Update Password.
Manage connected accounts
If Connected Accounts is available in Settings → Security, you can link another listed service and use it to sign in.
You can unlink a service only when another sign-in method remains connected. This prevents you from removing your only way to access the account.
Troubleshooting
The email or password cards are missing
Your account may use an email link, a connected service, or another available method instead of a password. Continue using a connected method shown on the sign-in page.
A reset or verification email does not arrive
Confirm the address, check spam or junk folders, and request a new message. If a link has expired or is rejected, use the new message.
A connected account cannot be removed
Connect another sign-in method first, then try again. Trackability does not allow you to remove your last connected sign-in method.
Your new password is rejected
Follow the password requirements displayed in the form and make sure the new password and confirmation match.
